SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed with regards to the significant variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The provider place developed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the Workplace click here to attend to all people who go to SRD a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to help the servicing of all shoppers and raise access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
